Over the last few months we have been working on building the Explorer Technology Side Scan Sonar Towfish which gives you a head start on DIY Side Scanning by doing the hardest part for you, Building the Fish itself! This Fish weighs about 35lbs which works great for hand deployments.
This product comes as a bare Towfish powder-coated to a color of your choice with a Hard Plastic Case. We include a blank transducer plate for you to mount your transducer of choice (GARMIN, Humminbird, Lowrance, Simrad)
At this time we do not offer cabling, but we are working on it! The current recommendation is stacking extensions from the company of your choosing and bonding it to a strength member.
