Rebreather Day 1 (RD1)

Rebreather Day 1® (RD1) is a system and method for rebreather diving from Lombardi Undersea LLC.  The system was developed in 2017 and has undergone several hundreds of hours of field evaluations prior to finalizing production components and their methodology.

RD1 provides an 'open source' architecture that easily evolves from a simple shallow water oxygen-only unit to mixed-gas CCR. Systems are in use within university dive programs, as well other professional applications. Components have been used in assemblies for diving, hyperbaric medicine, confined space, HAZMAT, and aerospace systems.

OEM components, subassemblies, and/or complete customized systems are available.
