About Us

Explorer Technology LLC develops and manufactures equipment and power systems for recreational, technical, wreck, and cave diving. A major part of our work is underwater battery technology, including custom battery systems for virtually every DPV manufactured, along with power solutions for dive lights, heated equipment, and other underwater applications. We do product development, R&D, prototyping, testing, and much of our manufacturing in-house, allowing us to take products from concept through production while maintaining direct control over design, manufacturing, and quality. Explorer Technology also manufactures a growing line of specialized diving equipment and exclusively manufactures and distributes SumpUK products.

Explorer Technology is the next generation of a family-run diving business with roots stretching back decades through Scuba Training & Technology Inc., Tech Diving Limited, and ExplorerTechnologyLLC.com, which now serves as the online store for all three companies. That history provides a foundation in technical diving, exploration, equipment development, and real-world experience, while Explorer Technology moves forward with a stronger focus on engineering, manufacturing, underwater power systems, and new product development. Our goal is to provide divers with equipment we manufacture ourselves, along with carefully selected products from the diving brands we represent.
