The Deep 6 team has a lot of experience in regulator design and, through that experience, we built a great one… yes, just one. We believe that, especially when designing life-support equipment, there shouldn’t be graduated levels of “quality” or “performance.” Simply put, Deep 6 offers the highest quality and best performing regulator possible.
These second stages are molded with a high quality polymer and the metal parts are chromed and PVD and or Teflon(Barrel) coated. Sure, it’s more expensive for us to make it this way but we’re committed to doing it right. Beyond this, Deep 6 exclusively uses a turbine design in our poppet which spins the breathing gas into a vortex for effortless breathing performance.
